In 2012, I went on a school trip to Spain. It was a guided tour through ETours and I do not have any notes from that trip. I found a folder of images on my computer and sorted through them via date stamp.
25 June 2012
I traveled with my high school principal and three other students. Our first leg of the journey was from Minnesota to Canada, and from Canada to Spain. Because of time changes and such, we left the States on the 25th and landed in Barcelona on the 26th.
26 June 2012
We did a lot of walking that day.
This was my first time using a camera to document what was going on around me, so I was looking for interesting compositions and subjects.
Placa de Catalunya
The only thing I remember about this square was all the pigeons. Or 'rats with wings' as my mother calls them.
One of the many churches in Barcelona - The Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia. Also known as the Barcelona Cathedral.
Plazas around Barcelona's center and various buildings (and a sculpture) I found interesting.
27 June 2012
We started the day off on a bus tour of the city.
Casa Batlló from the bus.
Park Güell
I remember spending a lot of time in Park Güell.
Parc de Montijuic
I remember being fascinated with the the sidewalks as much as the view of the harbor.
Sagrada Família
