Before I got to Venice, I had to endure a train ride in a very tiny compartment with 5 other women. For 12 hours.
Now back to Venice.
I made it off the train and somehow found my Airbnb room. I have no clue how I made it, but I did. When people told me that Venice was insane to navigate, I thought they were over exaggerating. They were not.
Imagine a maze. Within a maze. This is an over view of Venice.
Don't get me wrong, it was lovely. Honestly. But I was lost the whole time. I'm lucky I made it back to my room.
I bought a map of Venice when I got off the train. I figured it out enough to get to my room and after that, it was useless.
I was lost, so I decided to make a game out of it. How many door knobs and door bells could I find?
How many empty sidewalks can I find?
How many doors can I find?
How many bridges can I cross?
And before I knew it, it was dark out and I needed to go to sleep.
