After we were finished at the Fox Village, we went to the Kokeshi Village, but it was closed. So we headed up to Yamadera instead.
A view from the top of the stairs above the gate.
Being my third time climbing to the top, I decided to count the steps. We climbed 1,002 steps to the top (including the steps it takes to get to the outlook).
The climb to the top was very peaceful - there were very few people climbing. Kaylee and I went up and Erica stayed at the bottom.
It was very sunny in the outlook, so either I was in shadow and the background was clear, or I was good and the background was washed out.
After Kaylee and I wondered around a bit, we descended the mountain side. The drive home was interesting. My GPS did not account for roads being closed, so we were on our own for a bit. It was not too bad, but then it started snowing. A tiny k-car and snow is not fun. But we did make it home in one piece, so that is all that matters.
